A beautiful cycle of 'doing' by example from mother to children and back again. Ahhh that query letter is brilliant Paige and some excellent feedback. And the first pages!!! Truly, the agent's feedback that she feels like she's a novel. Congratulations!
Thank you Mel! We'll see how that query does IRL soon! Eek! I'm nervous but also very excited to FINALLY get to this point...look forward to you joining me soon!
Just WATCHING those gymnastics meets and baseball games is a practice in conquering fear. My kiddo is the flyer on her cheer team, and watching her practice/compete is terrifying.

Well said, Paige! I’ll be at AWP too (not sure if I mentioned in chats or social media already).
Thanks Sarah! I'd love to meet up at AWP!

Good luck querying!
yes, cheer team flyer would be fear inducing! Yikes. Things we do for these kids (watching and shaking with fear :)
I saw that scary snowy picture from your son’s trip. Yikes!
Feeling the fear and doing it anyway! As Mary Oliver points out, we have one precious life. So go for it 😉
Yes! I think of that Mary Oliver quote so often...one precious life, and yet we worry about such nonsense, small stuff that doesn't matter!
Seriously. Wasn’t there a promise of being done with the fear by the time we’re 50?
